Account overview

Manage your YourWebTech account: profile, orders, domains, and website hosting.

Account overview

Your YWT account is where you manage your profile, view orders, configure domains, and manage hosted websites. You can access the account section by clicking your avatar in the top-right corner and selecting Account, or by navigating directly to ywt.ch/account.

Account section

The account section has a sidebar with four pages:

  • Account — Your profile page where you manage your avatar, display name, two-factor authentication, saved payment methods, and recovery email.
  • Orders — A complete history of all your purchases, renewals, and transfers.
  • Domains — A list of all your registered domains. Click any domain to open its detail page, where you can manage DNS records, nameservers, DNSSEC, and transfer settings.
  • Website hosting — A list of your static sites. Click any site to view its details, including an overview, workspace editor, version history, and connected domains.

What you can do from your account

Manage your profile

Update your display name, avatar, saved payment methods, and recovery email. Your account email is shown on the profile page and is used for account notifications, renewal reminders, and payment receipts. You can also enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.

Use registrant contacts

Domain orders use registrant contact information required by the registry. If your account does not yet have a registrant contact, checkout asks you to create one before the order review step. If you already have registrant contacts, checkout lets you select the default contact or add another one.

Security settings

Protect your account with a strong password and TOTP-based two-factor authentication. The 2FA controls are on the main Account page, together with your profile settings.

Monitor the email address you use for your account. This is how YWT sends renewal reminders, payment receipts, and security alerts.
